SCS has won the Management Excellence Award given to two nonprofit agencies in greater northern California each year by the Chevron Corporation and the Management Center. We have received an award for Outstanding Service as well as for Creativity, Leadership, and Collaboration from United Way Silicon Valley. We have 100% clean audits and maintain low overhead expenses. We leverage contributions with volunteer hours that equal 11 full-time employees and enable us to provide more services with fewer paid staff members (7.5).

The Rotary Club of Sunnyvale and its partner club in Kainan,
Japan donated this van which enables us to obtain much larger
quantities of food and other items for our clients
