Our Holiday Campaign Helps Families in Need
During the holidays, many workers have their hours cut, and school lunches are not available. Utility bills are higher, and many low-income families must choose between paying rent or buying food. Holiday gifts are a luxury.
Each holiday season, Sunnyvale Community Services gives extra food and a Safeway gift card to our families at Thanksgiving, and in December, each family receives two weeks of nutritious food, plus two gifts per child, and a practical household gift. The food will tide them over through the holiday season, and the gifts are often the only ones the children and families will receive.
Please help us prevent homelessness and hunger in our community by making a financial donation. You can donate online or send a check to:

Sunnyvale Community Services can send a letter acknowledging your monetary gift to Sunnyvale Community Services in honor of friends and family.
Other welcome donations
Sunnyvale Community Services is also collecting non-perishable food and new unwrapped gifts for children, teens, and households to distribute through the Community Holiday Center this holiday season.
All donations are gratefully accepted at Sunnyvale Community Services throughout the year.

Founded in 1970, Sunnyvale Community Services is an independent, nonprofit emergency assistance agency. Our mission is to prevent homelessness and hunger for low-income families and seniors facing temporary crises. We provide financial aid, food, and other support that prevents larger problems with more expensive solutions.
