Backpack Drive
As the cost-of-living soars, countless local families are struggling to provide their children with the essential school supplies needed to succeed. The Ready to Learn Program at Sunnyvale Community Services is dedicated to ensuring 2,500 students start the school year equipped with new backpacks and supplies. Your generous donation can make all the difference, empowering children with the confidence and tools they need to thrive academically. Together, we can give every child in our community the opportunity to succeed.
Our 2025 Backpack Drive Goal
1,000 backpacks for Kindergarten – 4th grade (Character backpacks like Disney, Superheroes, etc. are most popular.)
1,500 backpacks for 5th – 12th grade (Plain-colored backpacks in black, grey, and blue are highly requested, with Jansport being the preferred brand.)
Help us ensure all students in our community receive the essentials for academic success.
