Shopping & Selling

Online shopping and selling sites harness the power of many donors to help SCS carry out its programs. You can also donate the unused value of store gift cards.

eBay for Charity / PayPal

Whether you’re buying or selling items on eBay, you can benefit SCS. eBuyers can add a donation at checkout any time you purchase an item. Sellers can designate a portion of their proceeds to SCS. Find out more on the eBay for Charity website, or go directly to the SCS charity page now to make a donation or set SCS as one of your favorite charities.

eBay donations are processed through the PayPal Giving Fund, which you can also donate to directly from your PayPal account. In the More menu on your eBay summary page, select “Donate to a cause.” Then search for Sunnyvale Community Services, and on the search results page, click the Donate button. On the donation page you can also set SCS as a favorite charity so you’ll be reminded of opportunities to support SCS when you use eBay or PayPal in the future. See PayPal’s Nonprofits and Donations page for more information.

Nextdoor’s Sell for Good

If you’re offering items for sale on Nextdoor, you can designate some or all of the selling price to SCS. See the About Sell for Good page for more information.

Donate Your Card

Do you have gift cards with balances you don’t plan to redeem? Donate Your Card, a program of CharityChoice, lets you transfer those unused funds to SCS.
