“The impact that you make is much more than what you put in.”—Ana Lim

With the help of over 2,500 volunteers each year, Sunnyvale Community Services is able to provide emergency food and financial assistance to low-income, hard-working families who are struggling with the high cost of living in Silicon Valley.

There are opportunities for volunteers of all ages and interests, including food distribution, deliveries to home-bound seniors, food sorting, and more. We rely on assistance from individuals, student volunteers, faith-based groups, corporate volunteers,  family night programs, community leader programs and many others to do the important work of helping our neighbors in need.

Volunteers often start by supporting our food distribution efforts on Produce Days. Over time, other volunteer experiences may become available that match specific skills in other programs like: assisting in our warehouse, crafting with Auxiliary, picking fruit with Village Harvest and a couple of seasonal programs throughout the year.

If you are interested in volunteering you can sign up here. You will be contacted as soon as an opportunity becomes available.

“Being helpful is huge to me. That is my community and my friends.”— Eric Wilford
