Backpack Drive
With the rising cost of living, we anticipate the 2024 school year will be challenging for low-income families struggling financially, with little left for items like essential school supplies and a new backpack.
The SCS Ready-to-Learn program aims to offset some of these costs. This year, our goal is to ensure 2,500 students have what they need to be prepared for a successful school year. We need the assistance of our community to help us raise funds and acquire 2,500 new backpacks.
We need 1,100 kindergarten-5th grade high quality character backpacks along with 1,400 high quality backpacks for grades 6th-12th.
Help us ensure all students in our community receive the essentials for academic success.

Drop-off location: Ops Desk at the back of our facility at 1160 Kern Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. Hours for donations: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday 9am-12pm and 12:30pm-4pm.
