Backpacks for Sunnyvale Children in Need

 

What is Backpack Day?

Every August we give brand new backpacks filled with age-appropriate school supplies to children entering kindergarten through 12th grade in high school.

 

How do I participate?

All SCS clients enrolled in the food program and who have school-aged children in their household are welcome to participate. To register, call the Backpack Registration Telephone Line: (408) 470-3028 and leave a message with the following information: 

  • First and last name
  • Case number
  • Telephone number

Someone will return your call to schedule an appointment.

Registration closes July 24, 2020.

 

Who can participate in Backpack Day?

Backpack Day is for families with school-aged children who have already been certified for our food programs. We do not accept “walk-ups.”
