Donor Updates

 

COVID-19’s impact remains. Many SCS clients are still furloughed or working reduced hours. We’re helping them stay current on their rent. Thank you for helping us help them!

We are currently accepting food donations to support our weekly distributions. Please see our list of needed items. For questions, please contact donate@svcommunityservices.org prior to donation drop-off. Gift cards and monetary donations are greatly appreciated!

Check

We welcome your check or money-order gift. To donate by mail, simply follow the instructions in this link.

IRA Distribution

Are you 70.5 or over? You can make a qualified charitable contribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to SCS. You'll help your neighbors in need and possibly save on your taxes! 

Employer Match

Many companies will match donations or even pay for employees’ volunteer hours. Check with your Human Resources Department to determine if your company or your spouse's company will match your contribution.

Stock

You may reduce your tax liability by donating stocks. Download the form!

Real Estate

Donating real estate benefits both you and SCS. Contact us to discuss a transfer.

Donor Privacy Policy

Sunnyvale Community Services will not sell, trade or share a donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. In our twice-annual newsletter, we list names only of donors giving $1,000 or more annually, and we honor all donor requests for donations to be anonymous.
